Satiananthan Foresee Positive Things From KBS Latest Announcement


Selangor will carry out training sessions with contact training starting from the 15th of July after the Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) releases a statement that allows sports with contact to be played again in their Phase 3 and Phase 4 Sports SOPs earlier today.

The Selangor head coach, B.Satiananthan shared his relief after the ministry allowed to loosen up some procedures in order for his players to starts training like they used to be, especially in the routine that requires body contacts.??

“This (the news) can make it easier for training sessions to run because football without contact training is difficult,” he said.

Satiananthan also suggesting that he will rearrange all the ongoing training sessions to ensure that it will be more inclusive and exhaustive, as well as foreseeing to schedule some friendly matches before the M League resumes.??

“I hope that we can plan the training well and run some friendly games to prepare the team before the M League starts back soon,” he added.

Prior to today’s announcement, the Red Giants are already back in the training but need to adhere the Phase 1 and Phase 2 SOP which stated that each training session must be carried out in a group of fewer than 10 people and no body contact is allowed.
